ARE YOU ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS?
Yes, K9 Suds-N-Scissors is accepting new clients in certain cities!
We can accept clients who can be on a regular 4-week, 6-week, or 8-week schedule (depending on your area). For example, there are some areas that we only visit every 6 weeks. We are also able to schedule individual appointments up to 8 weeks in advance (depending on your area). Please text us at 614-600-0630 for more information.
We are not able to check our Facebook page and email every day- the best way to contact us is by texting our office at 614-600-0630. Our office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-4:00.
HOW DOES SCHEDULING WORK?
Please text 614-600-0630 to set up an appointment. You will receive a reminder text one week before your appointment. Two days before your appointment, you will receive a second reminder text, along with your estimated arrival time. This is a 2-hour window (to account for matted dogs, traffic, and other factors). We do not give out estimated arrival times at booking (because we need to fill our groomer's days and route their stops in the most efficient way). We appreciate all flexibility but if you need a morning or afternoon, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD MY DOG BE GROOMED?
On average, dogs should be groomed every four to six weeks. It also depends on your dog's breed, coat type, how much time they spend outside, how often they're getting brushed at home, and how short their hair is trimmed. Please contact us for a personal consultation.
DO YOU GROOM ALL DOGS?
We are able to groom small, medium, and some large breed dogs. We have hydraulic tables and a ramp to get the dogs into the tub. If your dog is uncooperative, aggressive, and/or doesn't stand on their own for the entire groom, then you will be charged the minimum service and travel charge and for whatever services were performed. We will always do our best to complete the groom but safety (for your dog and our groomers) comes first. Please see our services page for more information regarding pricing.

At the appointment time, our professional groomer will come to your door, lead your pet to our mobile spa, and give them the one-on-one attention they deserve. Then they will be returned to your home. Our professional groomers are focused 100% on your pet while they are enjoying our spa. They are never put away in a cage to dry or wait.
Your pet receives individualized attention and high-quality products. Our service is performed in a much calmer environment, resulting in less stress to your pet. They are not separated from your home all day. Let us save you the hassle - we'll come to you!

WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept all major credit cards, cash, and checks (as well as Venmo and Zelle). Payment is due at the time services are rendered. There is a $35 service charge fee for all returned checks. When you write a check to K9 Suds-N-Scissors, you agree to pay this fee should your check be returned for any reason.
DO I HAVE TO BE HOME WHILE YOU GROOM MY PET?
Until we get to know you and your dog, we prefer that you be home for your appointment. After 1-2 visits, you do have the option of leaving a garage door code or key for your groomer (so they can groom your dog if you're not able to be home). Please ask for more details.
DO YOU NEED TO USE MY WATER OR ELECTRICITY?
K9 Suds-N-Scissors is a completely self-contained unit. The mobile van has a generator along with a freshwater tank and a grey water tank on board.
